APEC delegation visits Banemore
/Banemore welcomed agricultural policy officials from Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies this month who were visiting RMIT University at Hamilton as part of a capacity building training program, funded by AusAid, that considered food security and the development of sustainable agriculture. The first four days were convened in Melbourne. The group then travelled to the University’s rural campus in Hamilton. While visiting our Hereford stud delegates learnt about the history and principles of Breedplan and saw a working illustration of permanent ear tag identification used for food security and safety in the Australian beef industry.
