Banemore Herefords was established in 1981. The property is located 25 kms south east of Hamilton and 15 kms west of Penshurst in Victoria.
Our breeding aims:
Produce practical easy care commercial herefords that will adapt to paddock and feed lot conditions. Average birth weight - sufficient milk - high fertility - high yearling and 600 day growth with high yielding carcases. Maintain good structure. Herefords for many conditions and markets. Our future aim is to infuse poll herefords without sacrificing overall hereford performance.

Latest news 09.03.2010 2010 Banemore Herefords Bull Sale Banemore had it's best annual sale ever, with the highest average achieved of $3,850 and record highest price of $14,000. The top price bull Banemore Northend D36 is a nominated sire for the HAL progency test project. This sire is sure to be a herd improver for the Tarcombe herd. Banemore for the first time offered 11 Poll Herefords. The top price Poll Hereford bull selling for $7,500. The Kentish Family Waterloo, Mt Gambier purchased Banemore National D67 (Poll Hereford) for $6,500. Volume buyers at the sale were Nayook South, Mt Gambier SA buying 6 bulls and B & JM Bell, Millicent SA buying 2 bulls.
23.02.2010 Banemore North End D36 (Lot 3 in our Bull Sale March 2010) accepted as sire for the Hal Progeny Testing program
12.02.2010 Hamilton Beef Expo Feb 2010 Banemore won the Grand Champion carcass for all breeds with an incredible score of 92 points
